It’s finally starting to feel like summer (hello 70 degree weather!) and I am so thrilled! I had to post my last winter wear outfit today before it starts to feel officially like summer. This outfit was one of my favorite looks to shot because I am obsessed with neutrals. I’m not a huge risk taker wearing bold colors so the neutrals are right up my alley! I hope you love the look as much as I do!

Knit Turtleneck

J.Crew Chateau Parka, J.Crew Toothpick Jeans (seriously, my favorite jeans), Banana Republic Turtleneck Sweater, Anthropolgie Mittens, Steve Madden Booties, Tory Burch Britten Clutch

Today was rainy, cloudy and just one of those days you want to stay inside cuddled by a fire with a yummy scented candle on, reading a book. I’m just hoping the saying, “April showers bring May flowers” holds true for May…I’m so ready for pretty flowers and sunshine!

Y’all know that a few of my favorite things are the ocean, turtlenecks and the color pink… these are a few of my favorite things…raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens…

Happy Monday loves! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA recently… the flu and bronchitis really knocked me off my feet so I had a personal date with Sex and the City and some yummy tea everyday for the past two weeks. Anyways, I’m bringing you some pretty pink love today, perfect for spring and summer! This dress is from Pink Blush Boutique and when I got it in the mail, I instantly fell in love! First off, y’all know pink is my favorite color 🙂 And it’s the most perfect summer swing dress for running errands or going to the beach and I love how it can be dressed up. Pink Blush Boutique has absolutely stunning pieces, and I linked some of my favorites for spring and summer below…!

1. Blue and Fuchsia Printed Swing Dress: the pop of bright fuchsia – I’m obsessed! and this print makes me think tribal, and tribal print is a big trend this spring and summer

2. Pink Floral Printed Chiffon Dress: these colors…I mean come on! so stunning and makes me just want warm weather so bad. also loving the long sleeves – the material is weightless so you shouldn’t get too warm in the summer

3. Green Lace Shoulder Tank Tunic: I picked this dress because of the neckline (hello gorg!) this is becoming a bigger and bigger trend and to say I’m obsessed is a serious understatement!

Happy Monday! I can’t believe Easter has come and gone, the time is flying by. My family did an Easter egg hunt and made a yummy dinner of ham, deviled eggs and banana fritters (my favorite!), but this was the first year we didn’t color eggs. I know, I know, next year I think we’ll have to bring that tradition back again!

It’s officially spring and there is still snow on the ground. I’m so over it! So, I’m still in my layering, mittens, and OTK boots mode. This J.Crew turtleneck top is the most perfect layering piece, and is an essential aspect of my closet. It’s super light weight and comes in a million different colors. I layered it with an old Gap sweater and a classic peacoat. There are a lot of really good sales out there on winter wear… and J.Crew has the most beautiful peacoat on sale for $150 (I’m obsessed with the grey color!).

Happy Fri-YAY everyone 🙂 I hope you all are having a wonderful day! I’ve been sick with the flu this past week so I’ve been stuck inside watching movies and Sex in the City. I can’t believe Easter is this Sunday (where has the time gone?!), and I’m praying I feel better by then. It’s supposed to be in the 50’s and sunny so I just want to be outside and soak up some Vitamin D with my friends and family.

There will be a post up soon with some of my favorite Easter dresses, so keep your eyes peeled!

A is for Audrey

Scarf Nordstrom Personalized Blanket Wrap, Sweater out of stock but similar here , Boots Hunter Tall Wellington Boots, Hat B.P. Floppy Hat, Bag Tory Burch Britten Clutch, Sunnies Gap, Watch Skagen, Bracelets Alex & Ani

I love anything that has my initial on it. Seriously. I have so many necklaces with “A”, there’s too many to count. Two of my favorites can be found here and here. But when I found this cozy scarf in Nordstrom’s, I had to have it. It comes in so many different colors, depending on your initial, but they are all just as fabulous as the next. I wanted to pair the scarf (since I got such a light and bright color!) against all dark tones to make the scarf pop and I think it worked!

I wear scarfs basically every day, it’s my guilty habit. Maybe its because I can hold the ends if I get nervous, or the comfort of having something warm and cozy around me, who knows, I just looove scarves.

Before I finish blabbering on and on about how much I love scarves, can we just take a minute and look at how beautiful the ocean is in the background?! And here I go daydreaming…
